Set of two vintage Orient pendant lights designed by Jo Hammerborg for  Danish lighting company Fog & Morup. Hammerborg was recognised for his innovative, modern design, and the Orient pendant was one of his many commercial successes in the 1960s and 1970’s. Fog & Morup was one of the most important lighting manufacturers of the Danish modern era.

The Orient pendant features a copper shade is copper and rosewood top. The rosewood ‘s dark grain creates a natural connection with the tightly woven black textile cord. The lamp has 24 narrow, vertical slots at the top of the genuine copper shade that allow the light to filter through. The fitting elegantly conceals the low energy light source and ensures a soft, pleasant light without any glare.
